Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Bookkeeper is responsible for requisitions/purchase orders, payments of invoices, and the purchasing of supplies. Will be cross trained to perform payroll duties and will act as backup to Payroll Bookkeeper when necessary.

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Two (2) years accounting experience.

~OR~

  • Associate degree (Preferred)

~AND~

  • Must understand general accounting concepts, general ledger entries, including debits and credits.
  • Proficient word processing and spread sheet application skills.
  • Ability to type 35 words per minutes accurately.
  • Ability to accurately use a 10-key calculator.
  • Two (2) years accounting experience.
  • Salary – This is a Non-Exempt position $18.50 – $23.50 an hour depending on qualifications (related experience, education, training, etc.)

We offer a 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday), 36-hour work week; Thirteen (13) Paid Holidays per year; Annual Leave; Sick Leave; Retirement Plans; Medical; Dental; Vision, and Life Insurance, tuition reimbursement.
