Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Program Manager

 The Program Manager is responsible for the administration and coordination of the volunteer programs and volunteers in Eddy and Lea counties as contracted with the New Mexico State Unit on Aging, Corporation for National Service and other entities and funding sources.  The Program Manager is responsible for processing grant applications that relate to volunteer services and providing technical assistance and support in the area of volunteer management.  Additional job duties include fund raising, public presentations and volunteer recognition activities.  Will receive instruction, training, supervision, and evaluations from the Executive Director.

Location:  1 Opening in Carlsbad

  • Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited institution of education in the field of Public/Business, Social Service or any related Human Service field and two years’ work experience.

OR

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which addresses the position responsibilities and activities.

AND

  • Demonstrated ability in supervision and administration in a professional level position.

 

Exempt under FLSA

12-month ~ 36 hours per week

Monday – Thursday

Wage will Depend on Qualifications (related experience/yrs., education, training, etc.)
