Human Resources Representative
Under the direction of the HR Director, the HR Representative is responsible for performing a variety of human resources and related administrative tasks and initiatives in alignment with the mission and vision of SNMCAC while maintaining compliance with rules, regulations and guidelines established by federal, state, county and local governments.
Duties & responsibilities: recruitment, new hire orientation and onboarding; creating and maintaining complete and accurate files and records (computerized and manual) throughout employee’s employment cycle. Benefits administration: open enrollment, leaves of absence, and ADA accommodations. Ensures compliance with rules and regulations related to benefits such as ACA, HIPPA, COBRA and FMLA: Assists with HR policy creation, implementation and maintains employment law compliance and labor reporting requirements including EEO, DOL, worker compensation, and OSHA and so forth. Assists with updating and maintaining the HR policy manual.

Education and Experience:
· Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Services, Psychology, or related field.
· Four (4) years’ HR or related work experience.
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Social Services, Psychology, or related field
· Professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management, or equivalent
- Additional education or professional training may substitute for experience or requirements.
Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures and technical manuals. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from vendors, contractors, supervisors, co-workers, residents, and city/county agencies.
Preferred: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Salary – This is a Non-Exempt position $36,092 – $57,301 annual depending on qualifications (related experience, education, training, etc.)
We offer a 4-day work week (Monday – Thursday)
