It is recommended by Department Of Health that employees and clients be vaccinated. Unvaccinated staff must be routinely tested for COVID-19 and excluded from work if positive and must wear face covering and social distance as much as possible. Full vaccinated staff do not need to be routinely tested.

The Center Aide provides assistance in carrying out the daily duties as assigned. Duties may include, but are not limited to, general programmatic support, meal preparation, light janitorial tasks, van driving, and van cleanliness in order to meet SNMCAC Senior Citizens Program goals and objectives. Assistance will be in accordance with the requirements and regulations of the Senior Citizen’s Program, the rules and regulations of SNMCAC and regulatory entities. Will receive instruction, training, supervision, and evaluations from the Area Manager.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and
• One (1) Year experience in related duties or
• Two (2) years of experience in related field
• Knowledge of SNMCAC/Senior Citizens Program policies/procedures
• Experience working with senior population
• Experience in driving a transportation van, preferred
• Experience in food preparation/service, preferred

Rate of Pay is $11.50 an hour 20 Hours a week Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm
