COVID-19 NOTICE

SNMCAC intends to uphold our mission and promise to help eliminate the causes of poverty while upholding the governor’s Stay-At-Home order to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. We’re committed to providing essential services to our most vulnerable neighbors throughout this public health crisis. We have already adjusted services to best follow the ‘social distancing’ and other precautionary measures that our public health experts are so rightly urging. SNMCAC’s leadership team, is continuously evaluating the need for operational modifications amid concerns relating to COVID-19. Below, we provide updates related to service/operational adjustments for our key programs. We’re in this together!!

Program Modifications During COVID-19

Due to the public health risks associated with the COVID-19 virus, our offices in Eddy and Chaves counties are closed to the public. As a result, there will be no walk-ins, however, most of SNMCAC personnel will continue to work through phone calls, email, and/or mail. A limited number of staff will continue to work at the main office during this timeframe, including members of the leadership team. If you need assistance, please call the SNMCAC main office at (575) 887-3939 from 8:00am until 5pm, Monday through Thursday. The staff who are working in the office can assist you, or direct you about how to contact the staff member you need to reach.
