Our Senior Program has an opening for a Cook.  This Cook position is responsible for the preparation of meals, the receiving of food and non-food supplies, and the cleanliness of the kitchen and the food storage areas in accordance with the federal, state, and local health regulations, and licensing codes.

This is a non-exempt position, $15.00 an hour.  Hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch an on Friday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm for a total of Thirty-seven (37) hours a week.

Minimum Requirements:

1. High Scholl Diploma or GED

2. One year (1) work experience as an institutional cook involving food preparation/service for groups of one hundred (100) or more

3. Supervisory experience

4. Proficient computer skills

5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
